Honey Pecan Bread



This delicious bread tastes fantastic yet is surprisingly quick and easy to make.

  • macadamia oil for greasing pan
  • 250mls 1 cup milk
  • 200g 1 2 cup honey
  • 2 tablespoons macadamia oil
  • 2 eggs
  • 225g 1 1 2 cups self raising flour sifted
  • 160g 1 cup wholemeal self raising flour sifted
  • 50g 1 2 cup pecan nuts

  • preheat oven to 170u00b0c lightly brush a deep 8 5 x 15cm base measurement loaf pan with the macadamia oil to grease
  • combine the milk honey macadamia oil eggs and sifted flours in the bowl of a food processor and process until combined stir in the pecans spoon mixture into the greased pan and bake in preheated oven for 55 minutes or until a skewer inserted into the bread comes out clean turn out onto a wire rack serve warm or cold bread will keep for 4 days in an airtight container at room temperature or wrap in foil place in a sealed freezer bag and freeze up to 2 months
